Baker Tilly Europe Alliance in the United States

In the run-up to the Baker Tilly Global Tax Conference in New York City a delegation from the Baker Tilly Europe Alliance is visiting several Baker Tilly offices along the US East Coast, namely in Atlanta, Philadelphia and New York City. These face-to-face meetings aim to strengthen the transatlantic links and to further intensify this cooperation in the future.

First Stop: Cherry Bekaert, Atlanta

The first stop of the Baker Tilly Europe Alliance was at the impressive office of Cherry Bekaert, the Baker Tilly member firm in Atlanta. Brian Dill, Managing Partner at Cherry Bekaert, summarized the business meeting with his European partners as follows: “Collaborating in a face-to-face environment on how we can be a leader in meeting the needs of our global and transatlantic clients and target industries.”

Klaus Bauer-Mitterlehner, International Contact Partner of the Baker Tilly Europe Alliance and Managing Partner of the TPA Group CEE, was pleased to meet with the his US colleagues: ”It was exciting to learn how many European and even German investments take place in Atlanta. In real estate and automotive particularly there is a lot of common ground for joint activities in the future.”

Baker Tilly Global Tax Conference 2017 in New York

The Baker Tilly Global Tax Conference will be held in New York City from 29 November until 1 December 2017 with Baker Tilly tax experts from around the world. More than 20 tax experts from the Baker Tilly Europe Alliance are participating at the Global tax event coming from Germany, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic and the Eastern Europe region.

Current Transfer Pricing trends

The Transfer Pricing experts from the Baker Tilly Europe Alliance, Iris Burgstaller (Austria and CEE) and Carsten Hüning (Germany) will join the Baker Tilly Global Tax Conference with a Transfer Pricing Workshop where they will discuss continental dimensions of current transfer pricing trends with Baker Tilly Transfer Pricing experts from around the world.
