TPA significantly expands its ownership base with younger faces

With the appointment of no fewer than ten new partners, TPA, one of Austria’s top tax advisory and auditing companies, is sending out a clear signal for the future. “We are significantly rejuvenating and expanding our ownership and leadership teams. This will put us in the best possible position to meet the challenges of the next few years,” says Leopold Brunner, TPA partner and member of the
Management Team.

“Our young colleagues who are being promoted to partner have excelled in their specialist areas during their career and are now ready to assume overall responsibility. They will ensure that our company remains perfectly equipped to continue to offer the full range of financial services against a background of increasing internationalisation and digitisation,” adds TPA partner Karin Fuhrmann, likewise a member of the Management Team.

Austria: 40 TPA partners in the area of tax and/or audit

All the new partners have many years of professional and leadership experience at TPA in the area of tax consulting and/or auditing. The spectrum of expertise ranges from real estate taxation to financial criminal law and through to international corporate tax law. This consulting firm, with its 12 offices and some 550 employees throughout Austria, now has 40 partners.

Helmut Beer

Helmut Beer has worked for TPA for the last 20 years. He specialises in advising real estate companies as well as metal and paper production companies, and in performing due diligence checks. This tax advisor is also an expert in VAT and corporate legal structures. Accuracy and reliability are top priorities for him, and he particularly values teamwork

 

Robert Bruckmüller

Robert Bruckmüller has been with TPA for more than 20 years as an auditor and tax advisor. A native of Vienna, this father-of-two is absolutely passionate about auditing. He specialises in bank audits and also in checking and preparing consolidated financial statements. Robert Bruckmüller is a member of the Professional Committee for Commercial Law and Auditing, a lecturer at Vienna University of Applied Sciences for Management and Communication..

 

Sebastian Haupt

Sebastian Haupt is a tax advisor and a trained expert in financial criminal law. This father of one daughter studied commercial science in Linz and Vienna, and raced up the career ladder at TPA. His diverse consulting portfolio includes special tax issues relating to corporation tax and value-added tax as well as financial criminal law. He focuses mainly on companies involved in manufacturing, commerce, telecommunications and construction.

 

 

Gerald Kerbl

A dynamic graduate in business administration, Gerald Kerbl was very quick to discover his passion for the real estate industry. With numerous published specialist articles in the area of tax law and many years of experience in giving presentations, for example as a lecturer at Vienna University of Applied Sciences for Management and Communication, this tax advisor has made a name for himself in professional circles.

 

 

Michael Knaus

Michael Knaus has been with TPA for 16 years. He specialises in providing legal services for small and medium-sized enterprises, to which he offers comprehensive advice on issues of fiscal, company and employment law as well as international taxation matters. Michael Knaus contributes special expertise in the area of cross-border issues in Slovenia, assisting with, among other things, tax optimisation at company, shareholder and executive level. He established and runs the office in Slovenia.

 

Klaus Krammer

Klaus Krammer has been with TPA since 2009, and has been head of Outsourcing in Bratislava since 2016 – a role he fulfils with tremendous dedication. Born in Fürstenfeld, he completed his studies in business administration and law in Vienna.  The Austrian tax Advisor has always focused on Central and South-Eastern Europe, and has amassed transnational experience working with international clients.

 

 

Melanie Mischkreu

This auditor and tax advisor began her career in the international consulting arena and has brought considerable expertise and enthusiasm to the TPA team over the past ten years. She specialises in advising on real estate transactions, M&As and international corporate tax law.

 

 

 

Christian Oberkleiner

Christian Oberkleiner specialises in corporate legal structures and in restructuring. Alongside his in-depth knowledge, his clients also particularly appreciate his other qualities, which include his flexibility, commitment and focus on finding solutions.

A congenial lawyer, he has also written numerous publications and gives specialist lectures.

 

Dieter Pock

This native of Vienna completed his studies in business administration at Vienna University of Economics and Business and has been a tax advisor with TPA since 2004. He provides SMEs and startups with advice on fiscal and business administration matters and also gives lectures. With a combination of specialist knowledge, experience and IT expertise, he helps clients with the organisation and implementation of accounting systems, with outsourcing projects and with digitisation. He is proud that he has been able to serve numerous clients since the start of his career.

 

Yasmin Wagner

This native of Graz has been with TPA Vienna since 2003. Even during her studies she specialised in tax law and supplemented their qualifications with a postgraduate in “International Tax Law”. Yasmin Wagner is a specialist in (re-)structuring measures, private foundations and corporate tax law. She is also the Co-Director of the “Centre of Expertise in International Tax Law” at TPA.
